A Wedding Thank-You Card

This is my personalized wedding thank-you card. Since this is the chance to let my gift-bearing wedding guests know how much I appreciate their thoughtful presents at my wedding feast (of course, my 'future' wedding party), I want to keep it simple, formal, and elegant. Hmm...maybe it's not attractive enough. I might consider to improve it later on. Any comments? :-D

Just sweet cards...

Well, these are very simple cards I have just created. I got the idea of making these images from a series of sweet cards which I have once shown you. I want to combine sayings and images together in order to convey even more powerful messages to the audience. I just wonder if I have reached this goal. Now, I want to hear your opinion.

Book cover

This is the book cover I designed for Brief 2 assignment. I took a photograph of a tree-trunk which I came across in the street. Actually, it's hard to say why I decided to choose this picture as a cover photograph. I have a vague feeling that this picture evokes a feeling of serenity which is, I believe, appropriate for the content of this book. Other components of this design, such as colors, fonts, spacing...are chosen for no specific reason. That's it!

I have found a very cool website about splendid moments of water. This is a website of Martin Waugh, a photographer. He combines art and science to capture nature's infinite beauty. What you could find on this site are pictures of liquids in motion. I really admire Martin for his great photographic skills to capture high-speed photographs. Merry Christmas to everybody!!!

Well, I don't know why my e-card cannot be shown properly on the blog 'cos it works well before I posted it on my blog (the background is supposed to be blue, and there should be no 'extra black line' at the bottom of the screen). I tried to fix it but I couldn't. Anyway, I still decided to keep and show it to all of you. It's not a brilliant work but I just want to play around with my Flash skills and create some thing for my friends and my loved ones in this Christmas season (although it's deadly boring and not beautiful, I believe). Any comments? :-D
